Wildfire, other evacuees in northern Ontario can look forward to First Nation's new centre closer to home

Missanabie Cree First Nation says it’s on track to open an Indigenous evacuation centre on its traditional territory in northern Ontario this spring. With 360 rooms and capacity for 600 people, the centre will offer a familiar space for evacuees that also recognizes their culture.
